Interested in becoming a substitute teacher?
PCMI (Professional Contract Management Inc.) Services, powered by Willsub, has been successfully serving Michigan K-12 schools with contracted educational employees for over 20 years. Northwest Education Services (North Ed)) contracts with PCMI to provide substitute teacher services to meet the needs of schools across northwest Michigan.
Substitutes Needed
Individuals wanting to become a PCMI/WillSub employee and work in a client district(s) school must meet Federal, State and PCMI/WillSub requirements.
In addition to these requirements, the applicant should have some basic experience related to all duties connected to managing a classroom of students or possess the skill set required for this position to ensure learning and position objectives are achieved.
STEP ONE – Once you complete and submit your online application, PCMI/WillSub will review the application, required background check & verification process to ensure compliance with Federal, State & PCMI/WillSub requirements. Substitute Teaching Applicants: during the application process you will be required to submit a copy of your valid teaching certificate OR a copy of your “official transcripts” reflecting a minimum of 90 earned credit hours on one transcript, obtained from an accredited four year university with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
STEP TWO – Once all of the requirements identified in Step One of the process have been met, an email notice will be sent instructing you to log into your account to complete the appropriate new hire, tax and payroll documents.
