Application and Enrollment

To take part in North Ed Early College, students must first become enrolled at North Ed Career Tech. Then, if Early College looks like it could be the right path, the next step is to begin the application process. To be considered for North Ed Early College, complete the following steps:

1. Complete the 2024 North Ed Early College Application
2. Complete the Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) admissions process
3. Send an official high school transcript and a letter of recommendation to Ashley Darga at adarga@NothwestEd.org
4. Complete the Accuplacer math placement test at NMC.  (Information about the test, including testing hours is available at this link)

After you have completed the steps above, you will be notified when a decision has been made regarding admission to North Ed Early College. If admitted, you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) will be invited to attend an orientation meeting.
