Special Education Services & Evaluations
Northwest Education Services (North Ed) employs skilled professionals who become part of the network of supports to enhance student growth throughout the region. Our staff are assigned to schools and districts throughout the ISD to provide special education support services. Those services include:
- Assessments to help determine eligibility for special education and appropriate programming, outlined in an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Educational and behavioral consultation
- Direct services to students, as outlined in an IEP
- Specialized Diagnostic Services for preschool children and students initially considered for eligibility under the Autism Spectrum Disorder rule
