Parent Advisory Committee

Northwest Education Services' Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is composed of parents with current students from Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau county school districts who have a current Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a 504 Plan. Together, this group works to provide a supportive environment for students, families, and educators that will help each student achieve their full potential.

Families often find their greatest support in connecting with other families who share similar experiences. PAC members serve as a valuable resource for others who are unfamiliar with regional services or are looking for information to support their child’s educational journey. North Ed's PAC sponsors regular meetings where parents can learn from each other, gain awareness on pertinent issues, and find opportunities that will help build positive relationships within their schools and community.

Any PAC member will tell you, “We can’t promise to have all the answers, but we are willing to work with you to help find the answers you need to make your child’s educational experience the best it can be.”
